Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct the dietary department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies

• Plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents

• Supervise a team of dietary staff, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure excellent customer service and quality of care

• Develop and implement menus that are both delicious and nutritious, taking into account patient preferences and special dietary needs

• Manage food inventory, ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care

Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as nutritional standards and regulations

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a busy kitchen environment
