Certified Ford Transmission Technician

Position Overview

There is an opportunity to begin a career at the best dealership group! Quirk Auto is currently seeking an experienced Certified Ford Transmission Technician for our busy Service Department! Quirk has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Compensation will be based on experience.

Key Required Proficiencies:

• Diagnose vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc
• Perform transmission inspections, repairs, rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments.
• Use Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
• Test-driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
• Provide the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
• Stay current with Ford technical bulletins, recalls, service procedures, and new technology.

Key Required Proficiencies:

• Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Deisel experience preferred.
• Previous experience and certifications recommended.
