• Greet patients and visitors, manage the check-in and check-out process.
• Verify and input patient demographic data, and manage obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations and referrals.
• Efficiently handle medical record release requests and coordinate the scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.
• Submit daily charges for procedures, and manage the collection of co-payments, including the daily reconciliation of reports and deposits.
• Provide flexible and reliable general administrative and clerical support to various functions within the assigned area.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• 1 year of medical assistant experience.
