Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN and according to the care plan.

• Assist clients with personal care needs, mobility, and activities of daily living.

• Accurately document care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition.

• Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

• Offer respectful, supportive communication with clients, families, and staff.

• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as needed.

• Transport clients to appointments, shopping, or social activities when required.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred; completion of CNA or Home Health Aide training required.

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (home health, hospice, nursing home, or hospital).

• Experience with clients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or Parkinson’s is a plus.

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

• Must be dependable, honest, and compassionate.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Must pass a background check.
