In this role, you’ll work closely with nurses and medical staff to provide hands-on care and support to patients, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and respected every day.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support patients during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when needed
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and other important health information
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Help reposition patients and provide preventative skin care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Accurately document care provided in clinical records
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests
- Work closely with nurses and team members to deliver high-quality care
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- A caring, patient-focused attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
