Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus
Role & Department: Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical/Surgical Unit
Hours & Shift: Part-time .7 FTE Day shift position, will work a weekend and a holiday rotation
Role Responsibilities:
- Collect routine vital signs and provide general nursing assistant services
- Will provide assistance in activities of daily living which includes: personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility/ambulation, maintenance of environment and patient safety
- Will work under the direction of the RN in charge
- May be asked to provide unit clerk coverage for the unit
Qualifications:
- Requires a Nursing Assistant certification and to be listed as active on both the State of Wisconsin and Federal Registries
- CPR completion preferred- will need to be obtained upon hire
- Current BLS certification or obtains within 3 months of hire.
- Prior nursing assistant experiences are preferred but not required
- Outstanding verbal and written communications, knowledge of medical terminology beneficial
- Prior electronic medical record knowledge is beneficial
