- Provide compassionate hands-on support with daily living, personal care, and mobility.
- Monitor residents closely and promptly report physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff.
- Partner with nurses on clinical procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Approved Local Exception. Approved for OKTUL for local requirement of CNA with a MAT - Medication Administration Technician certification. All other ministries must seek approval to use Approved Local Exception.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preference:
- Experience in a nursing home type facility
