• Support surgical recovery teams by preparing treatment areas, gathering supplies and assisting registered nurses during bedside post-anesthesia procedures.
• Champion patient dignity and physical comfort by assisting recovering individuals with personal hygiene, daily living activities and safe transfers between clinical units.
• Protect patient well-being by continuously monitoring physical, emotional and mental status changes, reporting vital shifts immediately to charge nurses.
• Maintain a spotless clinical environment by cleaning patient bays and restocking essential medical supplies for seamless PACU workflows.
• Safeguard the recovery suite by proactively identifying room hazards and taking prompt corrective action during medical emergencies.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • High School Diploma or GED or an active CNA Certification required.
