Bellestar Home Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality home health therapy services to patients throughout Amador and Sacramento County. Join a supportive team dedicated to helping patients improve independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strengthening, and safety training
- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition
- Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and adaptive techniques
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Current California COTA license in good standing
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
