About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing home health team. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.

This is a great opportunity for a COTA who enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them improve their independence and quality of life in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions and treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

• Assist patients with improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional tasks.

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.

• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist and clinical team.

• Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises, activities, safety precautions, and techniques to support independence.

• Complete accurate and timely documentation of visits, treatments, and patient progress.

• Follow all physician orders, care plans, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.

• Provide services in accordance with Medicare, state, and home health regulations.
