  • Maintain certified payroll records, Statements of Compliance, and supporting documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.

  • Maintain accurate tracking logs for certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements across active projects.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for certified payroll audits and information requests from owners, funding agencies, and government agencies.

  • Train and support subcontractors and project teams on certified payroll requirements and correction processes.

  • Partner with Construction Accounting on labor classifications, apprentice ratios, wage calculations, and fringe benefit requirements.

  • Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements during the bidding and proposal process.

  • Stay current on changes to the Davis-Bacon Act, related regulations, and state prevailing wage laws applicable to Flaherty & Collins projects.

  • Identify opportunities to improve certified payroll processes, workflows, and compliance documentation.

  • Support Construction Accounting and Project Teams with payroll-related questions, documentation requests, and special projects.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • You have 2+ years of experience with certified payroll reporting, prevailing wage compliance, or Davis-Bacon Act requirements.

  • Construction accounting or compliance experience is a strong plus.

  • You have a strong understanding of wage calculations, fringe benefits, labor classifications, and compliance documentation.

  • You're exceptionally detail-oriented and take ownership of producing accurate, complete work.

  • You're highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.

  • You're confident communicating with subcontractors, project teams, internal leadership, and external partners.
