The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities.

  • Responsible for activities including, but not limited to decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation
  • Responsible for various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials
  • Works in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.
  • The incumbent of this position will contribute to a positive patient experience by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering confidence in the care provided.
  • Performs related duties as required
  • Required:
    • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • BLS required.
      • IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience: Preferred: 1 year in sterile processing.
