The CEU Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving a unified, data-driven marketing strategy across the Central Europe cluster. By coordinating marketing activities, enabling cross-country collaboration, and leveraging global brand assets, the role ensures consistent execution, increased efficiency, and greater business impact. The position serves as the central point of contact for marketing governance, employer branding, sponsorship activation, external communications, and performance measurement, helping to strengthen DHL's brand reputation, customer engagement, and talent attraction across the region.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and coordinate the CEU marketing strategy and annual activity plan aligned with business priorities and country needs.
- Create centralized visibility and governance of all marketing activities across CEU to eliminate duplication and improve resource allocation.
- Drive best-practice sharing and campaign replication across countries to maximize ROI from successful local initiatives.
- Coordinate the marketing manager network and ensure consistent execution standards across the cluster.
- Act as the primary CEU interface with the EU Marketing team, ensuring CEU requirements are represented and global/regional campaigns are optimally leveraged.
- Increase utilization and business impact of DHL's global sponsorship and partnership assets (F1, Rugby, Festivals etc.) through structured activation plans across CEU.
- Develop a framework for evaluating and managing local sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring strategic relevance and measurable returns.
- Lead cluster-wide external communications and PR coordination, including reputation management, success stories, and earned media opportunities.
- Establish and lead a coordinated Employer Branding strategy in partnership with HR, leveraging DHL's Great Place to Work credentials to support recruitment and retention objectives.
- Develop content and communication toolkits that can be efficiently adapted by countries, increasing speed and reducing local effort.
- Introduce consistent measurement, reporting, and ROI tracking for marketing investments across the cluster.
- Identify opportunities for synergies, cost optimization, and greater use of shared assets and suppliers across CEU
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related experience in content marketing, social media oversight, or webinars/events.
- Experience coordinating webinars or events, including content development and promotion.
- Strong editorial planning and project management capabilities.
- Experience working with social agencies, creative teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to learn and actively navigate digital tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of content optimization best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to ensure brand consistency across all content formats.
