Team Leader | Restaurant Leadership

We are looking for an energetic, agile, and detail-oriented leader who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate can quickly shift priorities, confidently lead others, recognize details that need attention, and maintain a positive and professional presence even during our busiest periods.

Team Leaders work alongside our Restaurant Leadership Team to execute daily operations, coach and develop Team Members, maintain operational standards, and create an exceptional experience for both our guests and our team.

This is an active, hands-on leadership position. We are looking for someone who is ready to lead from the front, take initiative, make decisions, uphold standards, and bring energy to every shift.

Position Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay: $14.00–$17.00 per hour, based on position, employment status, and qualifying availability.

Team Leader Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will help lead the day-to-day execution of the restaurant while creating an environment where Team Members can perform at their best.

• Lead with energy, urgency, positivity, and professionalism
• Participate hands-on in daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Lead shifts and support opening and/or closing operations
• Set the pace and expectations for Team Members throughout the shift
• Coach, develop, encourage, and provide real-time feedback to Team Members
• Maintain strong attention to detail across service, cleanliness, food safety, organization, and operational standards
• Recognize changing business needs and quickly adjust people, positions, and priorities
• Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service
• Assist with training and developing new Team Members
• Communicate expectations and direction clearly and confidently
• Address Team Member performance and behavioral concerns appropriately
• Hold yourself and others accountable to restaurant standards
• Support Operational Excellence and the Chick-fil-A® Recipe for Service
• Lead by example and help create a positive, engaging workplace

Leadership Experience

Previous Chick-fil-A® Team Leadership or Management experience is required.

Previous restaurant leadership or management experience—including experience as a Shift Leader, Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Restaurant Manager—will also be taken into consideration when evaluating a candidate’s overall leadership experience.

We are especially interested in candidates who have experience leading teams in high-volume restaurant environmentsand understand the importance of speed, hospitality, operational standards, accountability, and attention to detail.

Minimum Age Requirement

The minimum age for employment at Chick-fil-A® Blakeney is 16 years old. Applicants who do not meet this age requirement are encouraged to apply once they reach the age of 16.

Most Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own employment content and policies.
