Senior business analyst at a globally licensed CFD/fintech broker (SFC-regulated, 1000+ staff) in Hong Kong: translating complex trading business requirements into development-ready technical specs, liaising between product owners and engineering, and mentoring junior BAs in Agile teams.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior business analyst with a strong technical background, capable of translating complex business requirements into precise, development-ready technical tasks.
- Work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather, refine, and clearly document requirements.
- Decompose high-level business needs into actionable features, detailed functional requirements, and comprehensive implementation plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison between product management and engineering teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts, promoting best practices in documentation, requirement gathering, and Agile methodologies.
- Ensure technical documentation and specifications meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- 4 to 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within fintech, trading, CFD, or related technical domains.
- Strong technical background with practical coding experience or deep familiarity with software development processes.
- Exceptional ability to transform business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable development plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of effectively bridging business and technical teams.
- Experience mentoring junior staff, fostering best practices, and maintaining high documentation standards.
- Strong proficiency with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and business analysis methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in system architecture, integration, and technical solution design.
- Familiarity with reward or loyalty systems design and implementation is a strong plus.
