*CFRP-Designer

Responsibilities:

Software Skill: CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX

• Development of lightweight structures made from fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP)
• Propose innovative solutions for technical problems
• CAD Design of CFRP Components and Modules, including layup definition and optimization
• Design for Manufacturability of FRP components in Prepreg-Autoclave, RTM and RIM technology with various fiber types, like carbon fiber, glass fiber etc. and various resin types
• Attendance of design meetings to discuss solutions for technical issues
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of the material-specific properties and manufacturing processes of fiber-reinforced plastics
• Extensive experience designing FRP components in CAD
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX
• Proficient knowledge of English, written and spoken, as well as very good knowledge of common MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
