Change Manager / IT Business Analyst | Federal Government

Join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team delivering high-impact, agency-wide modernisation initiatives within a secure Federal Government environment.
Lead key change management, communication, and business analysis streams for critical programs, including major Cloud Enablement and Zero Trust cyber security transformations.

Contract/Engagement: Initial contract through to End of Financial Year (EOFY) 2027
Rate/Salary: Competitive Market Rate
Location & Flexibility: Canberra, ACT (Flexible / Hybrid working options available)

Lead Change Management: Facilitate end-to-end business change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of critical technical and cloud transformations.
Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, internal communications, and end-user communities to build program awareness, support, and alignment.
Deliver Strategic Communications: Craft clear, high-quality client communications, transition messaging, and change artifacts tailored to diverse business and technical audiences.
Define Business & Technical Requirements: Elicit, investigate, and document business processes, functional specifications, and technical requirements across key initiatives.
Develop Support Documentation: Create comprehensive processes, knowledge articles, training materials, and support documentation for both IT teams and broader agency staff.
Support Governance & Reporting: Contribute to project reporting, tracking, and documentation sets in close alignment with PMO and technology delivery partners.

To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

Technical Toolkit: Demonstrated understanding of core ICT concepts, particularly within Cyber Security, Zero Trust frameworks, and Cloud Enablement/Migration projects.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Change Management, IT Business Analysis, or Business Communications within complex enterprise or government environments.
Core Capabilities: Superior stakeholder relationship management skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and concise communications.
Qualifications: Tertiary degree in IT, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry certifications.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance (or higher) and be an Australian Citizen.
