Change Manager
1. Job Purpose
Act as the central point of contact for managing the impact of Business, Technology, Regulatory and Transformation initiatives on Finance downstream applications. Partner with upstream project teams, Finance Hub Leads and SMEs to assess impacts, coordinate change activities, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure the successful delivery of Finance-related changes across the application landscape.
2. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary interface between upstream Business/Technology project teams and Finance application stakeholders.
Lead and facilitate impact assessments with Finance Hub Leads and SMEs to identify impacts on systems, processes, controls, data and reporting.
Coordinate Finance workstreams, deliverables, timelines, dependencies and action plans across multiple initiatives.
Drive stakeholder alignment and facilitate discussions across Business, Finance and Technology teams to resolve issues and support decision-making.
Manage and track project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and key decisions, escalating where necessary.
Coordinate testing, implementation readiness, deployment planning and post-implementation validation activities for impacted Finance applications.
Provide accurate and timely status reporting to stakeholders and management, ensuring transparency of progress, risks and delivery outcomes.
3. Requirements
5–8 years of experience in Banking, Finance Change, Project Management, Business Analysis or related roles.
Strong understanding of project governance, change management and delivery methodologies.
Good knowledge of Finance application ecosystems, system integrations and Finance operating processes.
Proven experience facilitating impact assessments, workshops and cross-functional stakeholder engagements.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively across Business, Finance and Technology teams in a complex banking environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
4. Preferred Knowledge
Finance domains including General Ledger, Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting, Finance Data Management and Management Reporting.
Banking products and their accounting and reporting impacts.
End-to-end project delivery lifecycle and change governance processes.
Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
5. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Professional qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Business Analysis, or Change Management are advantageous.
