This is an exciting opportunity to lead an established cyber security team, combining people leadership with hands-on involvement in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, and cyber defence.
This is not a role where you'll be building a function from scratch, you'll be leading a mature, high-performing team and helping drive continuous improvement across cyber defence capabilities.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and mentoring a team of cyber security professionals
- Acting as the technical escalation point during security incidents
- Driving incident response, threat hunting, and detection improvements
- Working closely with engineering and technology teams to strengthen cyber resilience
- Helping shape the future direction of the Cyber Defence function
We're interested in speaking with experienced cyber security professionals who have:
- Leadership experience within a SOC, Cyber Defence, or Security Operations environment
- Strong technical knowledge across incident response, threat hunting, DFIR, detection engineering, or threat intelligence
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within large or complex enterprise environments
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
