Strategy | Focus | Purpose
We are searching for Professional and Compassionate Charge Nurses RN who can provide Residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan and as directed by supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate licensed nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, facility policies and applicable regulations
- Monitor resident condition, respond to changes, communicate updates to physicians and care team members, and evaluate resident response to care
- Administer, monitor and reconcile medications safely, including controlled substances, pharmacy deliveries and discharge medications
- Complete accurate charting, documentation, audits and required notifications related to admissions, transfers, discharges, incidents and resident care
- Support resident-centered care, including dignity, choice, trauma-informed practices, family education, dementia care approaches and safe transfers or discharges
- Assist with staffing, census accuracy, RAI-related processes, insurance authorizations, billing support, surveys and department policy compliance
- Promote a clean, safe and orderly environment by following infection prevention, sanitation, safety equipment and equipment maintenance procedures
- Participate in care coordination, committee meetings, QAPI efforts, staff education, coaching and continuing training
