CHARTER | Captain & Chef/Stew Couple | 82ft SY | Med/Caribbean
This is a remote position.
STARTING OCTOBER - This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Captain & Chef couple team to join an 82ft UK-flagged sailing yacht ahead of a busy dual-season private programme.
The yacht, under new ownership since June is currently chartering in the Mediterranean with a freelance crew and the search for the right long term crew is underway. She will be needing some yard time in September prior to a busy Caribbean winter season.
This role requires a hands-on, experienced charter Captain/Engineer and Chef team capable of delivering consistently high standards for family and friendS.
The yacht will run with 3 professional crew - Captain/Engineer and Chef couple team plus Mate/Stew.

Mediterranean summer / Caribbean winter
Requirements
Captain/Engineer:
- Yachtmaster Ocean
- AEC 1& 2 or Proven excellent engineering skills
- Proven sailing yacht charter experience (monohulls preferably)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
Chef
- Previous yacht chef experience at similar level
- Strong dual-role capability (galley + interior)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene
- Capability to stand watches
- Sailing experience
- STCW
- ENG1
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
