We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chartering Manager to lead our chartering activities, expand our commercial network, maximize fleet earnings, and support the company's strategic growth objectives.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chartering Manager with proven experience in the Oil & Gas, LPG, and tanker shipping sectors to lead our chartering activities, expand our commercial network, maximize fleet earnings, and support the company's strategic growth objectives.

The successful candidate will possess strong market intelligence, commercial acumen, and extensive experience in vessel chartering, voyage management, stakeholder relationship management, and LPG and tanker vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead chartering activities and secure profitable vessel employment through spot, voyage, and time charter fixtures.
2. Develop and implement chartering strategies to maximize fleet utilization, revenue, and profitability.
3. Negotiate charter party agreements, freight rates, and commercial terms with charterers, shipowners, brokers, and cargo owners.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
5. Monitor freight markets, vessel positions, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and provide market intelligence.
6. Oversee post-fixture activities, including charter party compliance, claims, laytime, and operational performance.
7. Collaborate closely with Operations, Technical, and Finance teams to ensure smooth voyage execution.
8. Lead and mentor chartering and operations personnel while supporting the company's commercial growth objectives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in vessel chartering, commercial shipping, tanker operations, or related maritime sectors.
3. Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas shipping, LPG tanker chartering, and tanker vessel operations.
4. Proven track record in chartering and commercial management of LPG tankers, product tankers, chemical tankers, crude oil tankers, or related energy transportation vessels.
5. Strong knowledge of charter parties, freight markets, voyage economics, tanker operations, and shipping regulations.
6. Proven experience in charter negotiations, vessel fixing, and stakeholder management.
7. Established network of relationships with charterers, brokers, cargo owners, traders, and shipowners within the Oil & Gas and LPG sectors will be highly advantageous.
8. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
9. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic shipping environment.
