Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned vehicle(s) to transport executives, or passengers to and from destinations following scheduled itineraries.
- Plan routes to ensure timely arrivals while accounting for traffic, road conditions, and client preferences.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation—daily interior cleaning, regular exterior washing, and scheduled servicing.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections (tires, fluids, lights, brakes) and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist passengers with loading/unloading luggage, packages, or personal items as needed.
- Provide courteous, professional, and discreet service; anticipate client needs (water, phone charger, newspaper, etc.).
- Manage on-the-road logistics: parking, tolls, fueling, and keeping vehicle documentation (insurance, registration) current and available.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols; maintain a clean driving record.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with client conversations, schedules, and personal information.
- Keep accurate trip logs and mileage records; submit expense reports and timesheets as required.
- Be available for occasional after-hours, weekend, or long-distance assignments based on employer needs.
- Coordinate with dispatch or employer to confirm schedules, changes, and special requests
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class and a clean driving record.
- Minimum X years of professional driving experience (e.g., 2–5 years) — chauffeur, limo, executive driver, or similar preferred.
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills.
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns; GPS and navigation proficiency.
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and handle luggage or equipment (typically up to 25–50 lbs).
- Good communication skills and basic literacy for logs and reports.
- Background check and drug screening clearance (if required).
- Certifications (if applicable): defensive driving, first aid/CPR, commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required by vehicle type.
