Chef de Partie

We are looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our professional contract catering kitchen team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality, fresh food while maintaining excellent standards of food presentation, hygiene and kitchen organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen.
• Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in line with menus, recipes and specifications.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and assist with stock rotation.
• Ensure all food is correctly labelled, stored and prepared.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu development and new food concepts.
• Work effectively as part of a professional kitchen team.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress.
• Experience within contract catering, corporate catering, hospitality or a high-volume kitchen.
• Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• A passion for fresh food, quality ingredients and presentation.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
• Relevant food hygiene qualifications.
