You will act as the main coordination point between customers, internal teams, overseas offices, vessels, carriers, suppliers, terminals, and operational partners, while driving project planning, execution, reporting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

What you are going to do :

  • Act as the main operational point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, overseas offices, carriers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain project execution plans, transport schedules, action trackers, risk registers, and performance reports.
  • Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays or deviations, and implement corrective actions to secure service delivery.
  • Coordinate pre-shipment activities, including cargo readiness, documentation, customs requirements, packing, lifting, securing, and transport feasibility.
  • Manage internal and external communication through regular project meetings, operational updates, escalation points, and customer reporting.
  • Support tender and pricing activities by contributing operational solutions, transport concepts, risk assessments, and execution assumptions.
  • Follow project financial performance, including cost control, supplier quotations, additional costs, margin protection, invoicing support, and variation management.
  • Coordinate complex project cargo operations, including breakbulk, heavy-lift, oversized, out-of-gauge, non-containerized, rail, road, sea, and multimodal transport solutions requiring specific engineering, permits, route surveys, lifting plans, securing methods, terminal coordination, and interface management.
  • Drive lessons learned, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational reliability and customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for :

  • Proven experience in project logistics, industrial logistics, freight forwarding, transport engineering, or complex international supply chain operations.
  • Strong project management mindset, with the ability to structure priorities, manage deadlines, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver under pressure.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements, translate them into operational solutions, and ensure execution in line with agreed service levels.
  • Good financial awareness, including cost follow-up, margin control, supplier negotiation, additional cost management, and basic project profitability monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills in English and French, with the ability to lead meetings, prepare clear reports, and manage customer-facing discussions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of project cargo and breakbulk operations, including heavy-lift, oversized and out-of-gauge cargo, non-containerized transport, rail logistics, multimodal solutions, lifting and securing constraints, port and terminal operations, customs documentation, and operational risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in logistics systems, reporting tools, Microsoft Office applications, and operational tracking methods.
  • Structured, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to anticipate risks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
