Description

Edge of the Bay Resort (EOBR) is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. We go beyond accommodation, offering personalised service and immersive adventures that leave a lasting impact. From thoughtfully curated tours to exceptional dining, every detail is designed to showcase the best of Tasmania. Hyper-local, unforgettable, and a world of natural beauty—what more do you need?

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Chef Di Partie to join our kitchen team, bringing your passion for food to elevate a dining experience to new heights, immersed in a stunning beachfront location. Catering for up to 30 guests at a time, you’ll play an instrumental part in the operation of our kitchen, and will have plenty of opportunity to showcase and develop your skills within a global organisation. You will ensure our customers are satisfied through high quality dishes, customer interaction, high levels of food safety and hygiene practices being air tight.

This is a full-time, permanent position, based on-site in scenic Coles Bay, Tasmania. We are also open to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa who may be interested in a fixed term opportunity with us, couples encouraged to apply as we have other roles available within the resort.

  • Experience within a food offering operation.

  • Experience and knowledge in different cooking techniques, styles and procedures.

  • Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
