Join our catering team as a Chef at Warringal Private Hospital

You will be part of a large, friendly, and supportive catering team where quality, teamwork, and service excellence are highly valued. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your culinary skills to a meaningful healthcare setting

In this casual role, you will:

• Prepare nutritious and appetising meals for patients, staff, doctors, the cafe and hospital functions.
• Support daily kitchen operations including ordering, stock rotation, and food safety compliance.
• Work collaboratively in a busy team environment, reporting to the Catering Manager and the Sous Chef
• Understanding and meeting patient dietary requirements.
• Ensuring food safety compliance (HACCP) and accurate record keeping.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and equipment.

About You:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential).
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and OH&S standards.
• Proven experience in food preparation for individuals and groups (hospital experience highly regarded).
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows with strong organisation skills.
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
