Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations for the vegetarian food stall.
- Develop and standardize recipes while maintaining consistent food quality.
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese vegetarian dishes independently.
- Plan menus and introduce new seasonal dishes.
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and supplier purchases.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with management on operational improvements and business growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef, including leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in Chinese vegetarian cuisine and wok cooking.
- Proven experience managing a commercial kitchen independently.
- Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Food Safety certification preferred.
