Chemical Process Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor chemical processes and equipment as instructed, ensuring safe & secure and efficient operations.
  • Carry out routine checks and scheduled cleaning procedures.
  • Material handling and sampling for QC analysis. Work according to material segregation requirements and apply appropriate labelling and identification.
  • Collect and record data according to production instructions, checklists or logs.
  • Comply with rules and procedures regarding Health & Safety, Production / Process operation, Quality Assurance, record- and housekeeping.
  • Report material and process abnormalities and / or need for equipment maintenance.
  • Work as a Team member, support colleagues as and when required.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, problem resolution and commissioning as required.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager.

Requirements:

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or related industries.
  • Good understanding of Safe Working Practices and Good Documentation Practice
