Chief Architect

Salary: £95,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating as a Chief Architect, Enterprise Architect, or senior architecture leader within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong experience owning enterprise architecture roadmaps, governance, and target-state architectures.
• Deep expertise across the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and data platforms.
• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and business change programmes.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native, integration, data, and application architecture principles.
• Ability to engage and influence executive and board-level stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience within the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Clinical Services, or wider HealthTech sectors is highly desirable.
• Understanding of operating within regulated environments with complex governance and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering architecture across customer, operational, clinical, and corporate business domains is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve our enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Act as our senior architectural authority across the organisation.
• Translate our business strategy into practical and scalable technology solutions.
• Lead our architecture governance, standards, principles, and decision-making frameworks.
• Drive architectural alignment across programmes, projects, and product teams.
• Establish future-state architectures that support growth, innovation, security, and resilience.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to influence technology investment decisions.
• Lead and mentor architects across multiple domains and delivery teams.
• Ensure our architecture remains commercially focused, pragmatic, and outcome-driven.
• Provide leadership across our Microsoft-centric technology landscape, including Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Data & AI Services, Microsoft 365, enterprise integration and API platforms, and digital, data, cloud, and security architecture.
