Chief Development Officer (CDO)

Door of Hope, a Christian nonprofit serving families facing homelessness, is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead our fundraising strategy and help sustain the next chapter of our growth and impact.

Over the past several years, Door of Hope has significantly expanded its reach and services. Since 2017, the organization has grown from serving approximately 100 families annually to 700 families each year, while increasing operating revenue from under $2 million to nearly $10 million. During this time, Door of Hope completed its first $12 million capital campaign, expanding its capacity to serve families experiencing homelessness, and established a $1 million endowment fund to support the long-term sustainability of its mission.

We are looking for our next fundraising leader to build on this momentum, strengthen donor relationships, and secure the resources needed to advance our mission for years to come. In this role, you will lead Door of Hope's fundraising strategy, oversee all development functions, and partner closely with the CEO to maximize major gifts and long-term revenue growth.

Hours

• Full-time, in-office Monday through Friday, Fridays work from home (In-office 4 days, work from home option 1 day/week)
• Occasional evenings and weekends for events or donor engagement
