Chief Development Officer Company: The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) Job Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 20 - 25 years Role Purpose Lead end-to-end project development and delivery across the organizations West India portfolio, with potential to assume responsibility for North India. The role will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from planning and design development through construction, cost and contract management, commissioning and handover. The position will lead cross-functional teams covering construction, project management, contracts, procurement, billing and associated development functions, ensuring delivery against approved timelines, budgets, quality standards and business objectives. Key Requirements 2025+ years of experience in large-scale real estate development and building construction. Proven experience with residential high-rise buildings of 60+ storeys, with 70+ storeys preferred. Successfully delivered at least one super-tall residential project in India from commencement to completion; Mumbai experience strongly preferred. Experience leading multiple projects, a regional portfolio or project delivery across an organization. Demonstrated leadership across construction, contracts, procurement, billing, planning, design coordination and cost control. Strong understanding of structural engineering, MEP, faade systems, value engineering, project scheduling, contracts, claims and project cash flows. Experience managing senior teams, consultants, contractors and other internal and external stakeholders. Strong commercial, financial, regulatory and risk-management capabilities. International or GCC high-rise experience is an advantage. Leadership Expectations The successful candidate must combine strong technical construction expertise with strategic leadership, commercial accountability and the ability to deliver results through multiple functional heads. The role requires ownership of project outcomes across time, cost, quality, safety and stakeholder commitments. .
