About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Engineering, Data Center to manage the technical and engineering operations for a critical data center facility. You will act as the single point of contact for the client, ensuring maximum uptime, system reliability, and strict compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critical Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the 24/7 operation of critical MEP systems, including power distribution, high-capacity cooling systems, UPS, backup generators, and fire suppression.
  • Incident Response & Risk Mitigation: Lead immediate troubleshooting and emergency response for any infrastructure failures to protect data integrity and avoid operational downtime.
  • Vendor & SLA Management: Supervise MEP contractors, conduct monthly performance evaluations, and ensure preventive and reactive maintenance tasks meet strict data center SLAs.
  • Compliance & Testing: Oversee system testing, commissioning, and regular statutory compliance inspections while ensuring safety, energy efficiency, and security protocols are maintained.
  • Reporting & Planning: Produce comprehensive technical reports on energy consumption, downtime, and infrastructure capacity planning for ongoing system optimization.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Teknik Mesin/Elektro).
  • Mandatory Certification: Must hold a valid CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional) or CDFOM (Certified Data Center Facilities Operations Manager) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in commercial real estate/buildings, with specific expertise managing critical infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, building statutory requirements, and data center operational standards.
    • Acumen in budget planning, contractor management, and technical documentation.
    • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills under high-pressure scenarios.
