Chief Finance Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Finance Manager to oversee Finance & Accounts and General Administration functions across regional offices in Singapore, India, and Thailand, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and compliance with Japan Headquarters.
Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts
- Manage financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting for regional offices to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic financial planning
- Conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making and improve financial performance
- Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial service providers to maintain transparency and regulatory adherence
Regional Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between Japan Headquarters and regional offices to facilitate seamless communication
- Coordinate regional reporting, management updates, and business communications to align stakeholders
- Support cross-border projects by aligning corporate policies and procedures across regions
Required competencies and certifications
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) to effectively communicate and manage business correspondence with Japan Headquarters and Japanese-speaking stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, to collaborate across multicultural teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and administration functions
- Experience managing multi-country or regional operations
- Strong understanding of accounting and corporate administration principles
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
