Job Responsibilities:

Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Establish and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance.
Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and organisational growth.
Lead audits, tax matters, statutory reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Develop and enhance finance policies, systems, and processes to support operational excellence.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, funding models, and initiatives to support long-term organisational sustainability.
Identify and pursue government grants, philanthropic funding, corporate sponsorships, and other funding opportunities.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, community organisations, donors, and corporate partners.
Drive business development initiatives by identifying new services, revenue streams, and innovation opportunities aligned with the organisation's mission.
Present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board and senior management.
Perform other strategic and financial leadership responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in senior finance leadership, financial management, or Chief Financial Officer roles.
Experience within the community care, healthcare, social services, charity, non-profit, or social enterprise sector is preferred.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
Proven ability to engage with Boards, senior leadership, government agencies, and external stakeholders.
