About the Role

The CFO will provide financial leadership, oversee corporate financial operations, drive cost optimisation, and ensure the company's long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
• Develop internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Drive cost analysis, inventory valuation, profitability, and cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial advice to executive management and the Board.
• Lead and develop the Finance and Accounts team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years' progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal recycling, steel, or other capital-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, financial modelling, taxation, and corporate finance.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
