This position is designated as SES Career-Reserved. USDA structures its SES positions into position levels. This is a position level II with a salary range of $204,122 to $216,010 per year. Exceptions to the salary cap may be considered in certain circumstances. SES employees are also eligible to receive bonuses and performance-based awards. Provides direction and leadership in the formulation, development and execution of the financial management program of the Agency.

Participates with other agency executives to develop financial policies and procedures for the nation's domestic nutrition assistance programs to nourish those in need through financially sound programs that promote health and work.

Provides executive leadership and strategic vision to direct the development, maintenance, and modernization of corporate financial systems in accordance with government-wide and USDA guidelines.

Provides technical financial management advise to leadership in all major issues and significant management planning and policy and decision-making regarding financial management.

Monitors the financial execution of FNA budget in relation to Agency priorities and prepares timely budget and accounting reports for the Administrator.

Administers financial oversight of 16 programs that are national in scope and significance, with distinct but related client groups, services, and delivery mechanisms.
