Chief Financial Officer - Oil & Gas/Metals & Mining - CA

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function in Nigeria. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive leadership experience in the Oil & Gas, Steel, Aluminium, Metals & Mining industries.

The candidate should have strong expertise in financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, financial controls, and business performance management, along with the willingness to relocate to Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall finance and accounts function, ensuring effective financial management and control.

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

- Drive financial reporting, MIS, and management information systems.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations.

- Manage working capital, treasury, and fund management activities.

- Oversee financial risk management, internal controls, and audit processes.

- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Monitor business performance, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

- Experience: Minimum 18 years of overall experience.

- Industry Experience: Candidates must have relevant experience in one or more of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Steel, Aluminium, Metals & Mining.

- Must have prior experience in senior finance leadership roles.

- Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.

- Must be willing to relocate to Nigeria.
