General Summary:

This position works under the direction of the the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for accurate financial reporting and forecasting. The role includes developing and implementing financial strategies, overseeing all financial operations, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements. The position also involves leading the annual budgeting process, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to the Executive Team and Board Finance Committee. Regular financial updates and analysis are presented to the Executive Team and Board of Directors to support informed decision-making and long-term financial planning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Present financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Provide regular financial performance updates, including budget, forecasts, and financial risks to the Board of Directors.
• Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Lead the Finance Committee, providing strategic financial guidance.
• Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement financial policies.
• Oversee tax filings and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
