# Chief of Staff (COS) ## Company Overview Starapps is a SaaS company specializing in an ecosystem for Shopify and app development. Recently acquired Appmaker, a no-code platform, which contributes significantly to the company's growth. The company is bootstrapped, with a strong emphasis on growth, innovation, and strategic expansion. ## Job Summary The Chief of Staff (COS) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing key initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and providing data-driven insights to support the company's growth trajectory. The role requires a highly analytical, strategy-oriented individual with SaaS experience, preferably from a Shopify background, who can navigate the 0-1 journey and contribute to expanding the company's portfolio and revenue. ## Responsibilities - Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, managing high-impact projects and initiatives across the organization. - Oversee and analyze business metrics, focusing on ARR growth, churn reduction, and portfolio expansion. - Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business performance and support scaling efforts. - Coordinate with various teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment with company goals. - Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for executive decision-making, including review of key performance indicators. - Manage communication and follow-up on strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and accountability. ## Qualifications - Minimum of **4 years** of professional experience, with at least **3 years** in front-office or strategic roles. - Proven experience in SaaS companies, with a preference for candidates from Shopify or e-commerce backgrounds. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - Experience in managing or working within the **0-1** startup phase and scaling operations. - Educational qualifications from Tier 1 institutions such as **IITs** or **IIMs**. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to handle complex projects and work under pressure. ## Preferred Skills - Prior experience in a Founder's Office or similar strategic role. - Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, ARR management, and churn analysis. - Familiarity with no-code platforms and Shopify ecosystem. - Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and dashboards. ## Experience - At least **4 years** of relevant experience, with a focus on SaaS, e-commerce, or strategic roles. - Experience working closely with executive leadership, especially in growth-stage companies. ## Environment - Location: Pune, with a preference for candidates residing nearby. - Work Setting: In-office, 5 days a week. - The role involves a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration. ## Salary Not specified. ## GrowthOpportunities Potential for career advancement into senior leadership roles within the company, given the strategic nature of the position and exposure to high-level decision-making. ## Benefits Not specified.
