Summary
A senior project coordination role supporting a Dubai government organisation: the Chief Officer – Design helps plan and deliver projects end to end, coordinating timelines, budgets, contracts, documentation, and reporting for management. It is a stakeholder- and process-heavy role rather than a hands-on technical one.
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer – Design to join a leading government organisation in Dubai.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Grade: 11
Reports to: Design Department Manager
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and implementation of projects from start to completion
Coordinate project plans, timelines, budgets, documentation and deliverables
Support project managers with project planning and execution
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
Follow up on contracts, project requirements and deliverables
Prepare project performance reports and support improvement initiatives
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or challenges
Support data analysis and reporting for management decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Media, or an equivalent field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant practical experience
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of financial matters and project budgets
- Strong problem-solving and practical decision-making skills
- Knowledge of project implementation procedures and methodologies
Preferred Candidate
Emirati candidates with a Dubai passport are preferred.
