Chief Operating Officer (COO)
We are hiring on behalf of our client, an international technology company developing innovative AI-powered solutions for organisations across multiple markets. The company is entering an important growth phase and is strengthening its leadership team to build the operational foundation for further international expansion.
This is a newly created Chief Operating Officer role with significant scope to shape how the organisation operates, scales and develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the company’s operational functions in close partnership with the CEO.
- Build scalable processes, structures and ways of working to support growth.
- Improve operational efficiency, quality and predictability across the organisation.
- Strengthen communication and collaboration between teams and functions.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities and accountability across the business.
- Build, develop and lead high-performing teams and contribute to a strong company culture.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and alignment around priorities.
- Translate company strategy into effective day-to-day execution.
Requirements
- Significant senior leadership experience, ideally as a COO, VP Operations or in a similarly broad operational role.
- Proven experience building and scaling operations in a growing technology, production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong track record of improving processes, organisational structures and team performance.
- Excellent people leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong communicator, comfortable working across functions, cultures and locations.
- Structured, hands-on and pragmatic leadership style combined with strong strategic thinking.
- Fluent English; Swedish and/or Estonian is a plus.
- Based in Tallinn, Estonia, or willing to relocate to Tallinn.
- Experience in a specialised technology or security-related industry is a plus, but not required.
- Strong IT background is an advantage.
