About the Role

We are a premier specialist private investment and deal-making firm focused on acquiring and developing infrastructure and real assets across Africa, spanning Upstream Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Digital Infrastructure, Power, Transport, Heavy Industrials, and Real Estate. We are seeking an exceptional, intellectually versatile, and operationally fearless Chief Operating Officer to serve as the CEO's principal internal executive and second-in-command overseeing internal operations, institutional governance, enterprise reporting, cross-functional coordination, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the CEO's trusted operational partner, relieving internal operating burdens and leading firm-wide execution of business plans.
• Coordinate diverse teams across investment, finance, and transaction execution, ensuring seamless workstream delivery and technical support.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Establish and enforce robust institutional compliance and operating standards.
• Proactively diagnose and resolve complex cross-functional challenges, maintain business continuity, and build a world-class operating platform.

Requirements

• 12–20 years of progressive leadership experience in Private Equity, Infrastructure Investment, Investment Banking, Project Finance, Corporate Finance/M&A, Principal Investment, Family Offices, or Top-Tier Management Consulting.
• Demonstrable track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-value outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional commercial judgement, financial acumen, and technical investment literacy.
