Chief Operating Officer
We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale Osome's global operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will own the day-to-day operational engine of the business — turning strategy into execution across service delivery, operations, technology-enabled processes, and cross-market expansion. You will build a high-performing operations organisation that delivers an exceptional client experience while improving efficiency, quality, and margin as we grow globally.
Key Responsibilities
Translate company strategy into clear operational plans, KPIs, and quarterly objectives across all markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK).
Lead and scale the global operations function, including accounting and bookkeeping delivery, corporate secretarial services, client onboarding, and customer support.
Drive operational excellence — optimise processes, service-level agreements, turnaround times, and quality standards while maintaining regulatory compliance in every market.
Partner with Product and Engineering to automate manual workflows and embed AI into service delivery, improving productivity and scalability.
Own operational P&L; manage capacity planning, resourcing, and unit economics to improve efficiency and margins as the business scales.
Build, mentor, and develop a strong leadership team; set a high-performance, people-first culture across a distributed, multi-country workforce.
Establish data-driven decision-making through robust operational reporting, dashboards, and metrics.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g. ACRA in Singapore) and maintain strong risk-management and internal controls.
Lead operational planning for market expansion and new service lines.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on fundraising, board reporting, and long-term strategic planning.
Requirements
15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior operations or COO-level role.
Proven track record of scaling operations in a fast-growing technology, fintech, professional services, BPO, or SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of service delivery operations; experience in accounting, corporate services, or a regulated industry is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed, multi-country teams and build high-performing cultures.
Commercially astute, with hands-on experience owning a P&L and improving unit economics and margins.
Experience driving process automation and technology/AI adoption to improve efficiency and quality.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including at board level.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred, preferably in Business Strategy/Finance.
Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-changing, and ambiguous environment.
