Currently, we are bidding for Railway projects across India. The position of Chief Project Director is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties
- Provide overarching strategic direction, vision, and governance for the entire PGMS team and execution agencies.
- Monitor overall project cash flows, approve major financial disbursements, and oversee cost-control measures.
- Evaluate and authorize major contract variations, escalations, claims, and time extension (EOT) requests.
- Maintain direct communication lines with top-tier officials in the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, and State Government.
- Oversee the final, high-level integration testing and trial runs of rolling stock, signaling, and traction systems.
- Lead the preparation, documentation, and coordination required for the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) or Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) inspections.
Profile/Skills
- He/She should have Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 20 years’ experience in construction industry including Railway / Highway Projects.
- He/She should have minimum experience of 10 years in Railway/linear projects and worked as Chief/ senior project director or equivalent position for a minimum of 3 years.
OR
- At least 5 years’ experience in SAG or equivalent Grade or above in Civil Engineering or at least 7 years’ service in SG & above in Civil Engineering Department or in equivalent grade in Indian Railways/RITES/ IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grades in Konkan Railway/ MRVC/DFCCIL/any JVs/SPVs with Ministry of Railways/State govt, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.
