We are looking for a Chief Regulatory Case Manager to facilitate and manage regulatory cases, strategies, and technical issues while supporting agency policy and leadership. This position will be Part-Time and Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.

What You’ll Do
Work directly with the Agency head
Facilitate the development of recommended case strategy, technical issues, and testimony, ensuring compliance with policy directives
Combine resources to create persuasive work products
Identify current utility regulatory practices
Work closely with Leadership to carry out Agency policy
Assist in the development of agency work products
Collaborate with technical staff on case development
Draft and edit technical testimony
Review orders from the IURC, FERC, Indiana Supreme Court, and Court of Appeals, as well as other utility jurisdictions and periodicals to stay informed of utility issues; summarize issues for the Agency head
Analyze proposed legislation
Perform all other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Required:
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work productively with limited supervision and in a collaborative setting
Management experience
Knowledge of Indiana utility regulation
General knowledge of accounting, finance, economics, and engineering
Ability to manage multiple tasks and engage in creative problem solving
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to make reasoned recommendations to the Agency head
Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, technical consultants, and the public
Experience with regulatory case management
Familiarity with legislative analysis and testimony preparation
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$140 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
