Chief Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural)
Qualifications & Requirements
● Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore
● Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
● Minimum 20 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural engineer
● At least 15 years on projects similar in size and complexity: major construction works in buildings, structural steel works, and drainage
● Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration
Key Duties & Responsibilities
● Provide overall C&S team direction and management to meet project objectives
● Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment based on main contractors' work schedules
● Ensure the project is delivered to the highest professional technical and safety standards
● Conversant with Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements, and WSH Manual
● Endorse daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
● Coordinate overseas fabrication yard supervision visits for structural steel and precast components
Preferred / Advantageous
● Experience with large-scale structural steel works and precast concrete preferred.
