Job Summary
Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects to meet technical, safety, and quality standards while overseeing manpower deployment and personnel welfare in compliance with regulatory manuals and contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project team to achieve objectives set by the Superintending Officer and consultants
- Deliver projects adhering to the highest professional technical and safety standards
- Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment aligned with main contractors’ work schedules
- Ensure personnel welfare is maintained throughout the project duration
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and apply procedures from the Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements, and WSH Manual
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience as a civil and structural engineer, including at least 15 years on projects of similar size and complexity
- Experience managing major construction works involving buildings, structural steel, and drainage
- Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES
- Currently employed under the Contractor for at least 5 years with proficiency in PSSCOC contract administration
