Job Summary
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex mechanical or electrical building services projects, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory standards while coordinating contractor schedules and integration efforts.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project teams to achieve objectives set by the Superintending Officer and consultants
- Ensure projects meet the highest professional technical and safety standards through active oversight and quality control
- Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment aligned with main contractors’ work schedules to optimize resource utilization
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of the Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements, and WSH Manual to ensure procedural compliance
- Govern multidisciplinary integration and lead resolution of interface and integration challenges to maintain project coherence and progress
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate a minimum of 20 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical building services, including at least 15 years on projects of similar size and complexity
- Hold a Mechanical or Electrical degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Exhibit proficiency in contract administration under the PSSCOC framework
- Maintain current employment under the Contractor for at least 5 years
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Accreditation as a Registered Resident Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)
