Chief Resident Engineer (M&E)
Key Requirements:
a. Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical building services in building construction industry, of whichat least 15 years on projects similarin size and complexity; in particular major construction worksin buildings.
b. Possess a Mechanical or Electrical degree recognized by theProfessional Engineers Board of Singapore and preferably be accredited as a Registered Resident Engineer with the Institution of Engineers,Singapore (IES).
c. In current employment under the Contractor for a minimum of 5 years.
d. Proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
e. Provide overall team direction and management to realize the project objectives and activities as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highestprofessional technical and safety standards.
f. Oversee and administer the QSS manpower deployment based on the work schedules of the main contractors and ensure the welfare of the personnel are well taken care of.
g. Conversant with all procedures in the AerodromeManual, “Airside works Procedures Manual”, Airport Operational and Safety (AOS) requirements”, and Workplace Safety C Health Manual. To makeconscious effort to be constantly updated on any subsequent revisions to theabove-mentioned manuals, procedures and all applicable airport circulars.
h. Provide governance for multi-disciplinaryintegration, possess extensive interface management experience, be well-versed in interface registersand coordination workflowsand oversee the systematic management and resolution of interface and integration issues.
